Despite Covid-19 and all the rules and lock-downs associated with it, 2021 can be the biggest year ever for Christmas for Refugees.
More displaced Christian children than ever can have a real Christmas celebration, and their parents can receive a gift of essential items such as blankets or cleaning supplies.
Last year, the 2020 Christmas for Refugees program was completely changed because of Covid-19. Many bureaucratic rules are affecting the program for the children still in 2021, but we can overcome these obstacles this year.
We can and will help more children with Christmas for Refugees than ever before!
A Matching Gift Fund of $140,000 was generously set up for this Christmas by the Leadership Circle. These dedicated supporters of the Religious Freedom Coalition came forward this year with a generous fund to help double gifts to Christmas for Refugees!
Every dollar donated to Christmas for Refugees in October and November will instantly be doubled to two dollars.
To release the full $140,000 we must receive $140,000 in individual donations. At that point we will have $280,000 total.
This year’s Christmas for Refugees program will serve as a spiritual and material lifeline allowing a total of 12,500 children to have the joy of Christmas and reminding them of the true reason for Christmas. Our programs will also give the children material things while reinforcing their relationship with the Lord.
Help me remind these children that regardless of what evil they have faced from Muslims, that there is still a loving God whose only begotten Son sacrificed himself on the cross so they could have an eternal life with Him. The gift you give right now will be doubled by the Matching Gift Fund. So…. will you give today?
