If we can raise the $77,031 needed to use the full matching gift fund, we’ll have raised $154,062 toward fully funding the 2018 Christmas for Refugees program. By completing the matching challenge, we will be close to reaching our goal of helping almost twice as many children
The Assyrian Aid Society asked us to supply the diesel fuel for the generators for the rest of the year. We agreed to send $1,500 per month through December, when we hope Christians will be able to return.
Our Diapers for Refugees program will distribute 500,000 diapers during September, October and November thanks to the generous gifts of the supporters of the Religious Freedom Coalition. The mothers of each of those children also receive feminine sanitary pads for themselves.

William J. Murray, the chairman of the Religious Freedom Coalition recounts the events of the 9-11 jihad attack against the United States as he lived them. Murray was on the 14th Street bridge near the Pentagon when American Airlines 77 slammed into it. He had been on the phone with a Special Assistant to President Bush discussing the attacks in New York at the time.
The Iraq and Syria Genocide Emergency Relief and Accountability Act of 2017 (HR-390) passed out of the House a year ago on a near unanimous vote. Then, it sat in the Senate for many months until it was totally re-written by Senator Corker (R-TN).
Nearly 900,000 Syrians are expected to return to Syria in the next few months. The Christians are moving back to destroyed and looted homes and churches, just as they have in Iraq’s Nineveh Plain. 1,000 displaced Syrian Christians will have a real Christmas this year if we can raise the needed funds.
We are currently buying 500,000 diapers at a time which greatly reduces the cost. Each diaper shipment supplies diapers for about 2,000 infants and toddlers over a three-month period.
