Provide Protein to a Nigerian Orphanage
Christians in Nigeria are facing greater persecution than ever before. An orphanage we support in Plateau State, Nigeria has selflessly opened its doors to hundreds of children, many of whom have lost one or both of their parents to attacks by Muslim Fulani Herdsmen and the Boko Haram. Before we began supporting this orphanage, children were provided gruel two times a day and protein on special occasions. By partnering with our supporters, we began providing each child with protein for three meals a day throughout 2019. We also established a fully functioning farm operated by the older children to provide fresh produce to the orphanage.
However, as persecution rises on Christians in Nigeria, providing the children with this protein becomes increasingly complicated. Due to road blockages in and around Plateau State, purchasing and transferring food has become extremely expensive. We need your help this #GivingTuesday to provide healthy meals with protein.
Meet Some Of The Children
Together, we can provide 200 children with 3 protein-based meals a day for $5,000 a month. This equates to less than $1 per child a day! The small sacrifice you make this month will provide one child a full month of meals for just $25.
$25 – One month of meals for one child.
$50 – One month of meals for two children.
$500 – One month of meals for 20 children.
$1,000 – One month of meals for 40 children.
