Nigerian Christian Aid
(August 2nd, 2021): Our orphanage and farm in Miango, Plateau State, Nigeria has been destroyed by Sunni Muslim Fulani herdsmen. The orphaned children, most of whom lost their parents to previous attacks, were evacuated to safety in Jos City. Lodging there is temporary and at great expense.
Christians in Plateau State, Nigeria remain in grave danger as Sunni Muslim Fulani Herdsmen rampage their way through towns and farmland, killing Christians and destroying homes while driving their cattle onto Christian farms.
We are unsure of the status of our water tower, well pumps and everything else they have worked so diligently to create over the years at the orphanage. Reports indicate that our farm has been destroyed.
Most of the orphans were traumatized watching their parents being murdered in previous attacks by Sunni Muslim terrorists such as the Boko Haram and Fulani Herdsmen. Many have wounds from previous attacks. Now they have been traumatized by the destruction of their orphanage home.
Your help is needed to provide temporary housing, food, clothing and spiritual support of the orphans as we keep them in safe locations in Jos City.
Please join us in prayer for these children and our persecuted Christian brothers in sisters in Nigeria.
Will you pray for them and help financially today?
