The Christian town of Qaraqosh, Iraq, located on the Nineveh Plain, is in ruins. It is far worse than its appearance, which is bad enough.
Qaraqosh, a historic Christian Assyrian town was captured the Islamic State. Churches were used “as prisons for torture” and any Christians left in the town were forced to convert to Islam. In October, 2016 the town was liberated and Christmas for Refugees will celebrate this Christmas in Qaraqosh.
