Photos from some of the 2016 Christmas for Refugees parties in Lebanon, Jordan and Iraq held for displaced Christian children have been posted. The size of the events varied from 75 to as many as 525 children and were surprisingly orderly. Communications from the Middle East have made real time posting difficult.

Relief for Christian town liberated from ISIS
Qaraqosh, a historic Christian Assyrian town was captured the Islamic State. Churches were used “as prisons for torture” and any Christians left in the town were forced to convert to Islam. In October, 2016 the town was liberated and Christmas for Refugees will celebrate this Christmas in Qaraqosh.
