
U.N. Estimates 13.6 Million Displaced By Wars In Syria And Iraq

The United Nations refugee agency has estimated that nearly 14 million people have been driven from their homes due to the wars in Syria and Iraq. The 13.6 includes 7.2 million displaced inside Syria, and 3.3 million Syrians in other countries. In Iraq, 1.9 million have been displaced adding to the 1 million previously driven from their homes.

High School Student Banned From Praying On Free Time
Chase Windebank, a student at Pine Creek High School in Colorado Springs, Colorado, has been banned from discussing the Bible and praying with fellow students during his free time on campus. The principal of the school claims that Windebanks’ actions violate the separation of church and state.

Special Event: Stand for Houston Pastors
The groundswell of support across America rises for the Houston pastors and churches that have had their internal church communications subpoenaed in a blatant act of intimidation by Mayor Annise Parker. Christians across the nation are showing their solidarity with these churches by planning to be a part of I Stand Sunday – a nationwide simulcast on Sunday, November 2nd at 6:00 p.m. CT/7:00 p.m. ET. Live from Grace Community Church in Houston -- one of the affected churches -- "I Stand Sunday" will focus on what's happening there and discuss how Houston is a bellwether for the rest of America. The event’s purpose is to show how Christians nationwide can stand together in love and unity for America's First Freedom of religious liberty.

Special Event: Stand For Houston Pastors
The right of churches to freely speak the truth is under threat in Houston. Five pastors and churches in the Texas city have had their internal church communications subpoenaed by Mayor Annise Parker. This action by the mayor was done in response to a lawsuit against the city for basically ignoring a petition by the people of Houston to vote on a "bathroom bill" that was forced upon Houston residents and businesses earlier this year. None of the pastors or affected churches are even a party to the lawsuit.

William J. Murray, the chairman of the Religious Freedom Coalition attended the the Values Voters Summit (VVS) in Washington, D.C. September 26th and 27th. The Religious Freedom Coalition maintained an exhibit at the Values Voter Summit to provide information on the Christmas for Refugee Program for 2014.

Under Obama, ‘Religious Freedom’ Is Redefined As ‘Freedom Of Worship’
The Obama Administration is relentlessly attacking the First Amendment’s guarantee of religious freedom by redefining it in narrow terms as “freedom of worship.” In other words, the Obama regime is willing to grant Christians the right to worship in their churches, but not express religious convictions or beliefs in the workplace or any other place outside of the confines of the church.

The major threat to the United States and Russia is radical Islam, not each other
William J. Murray, the chairman of the Religious Freedom Coalition attended several conferences and meetings in Moscow, Russia during the second week of September, 2014. During that time he delivered the comments below or ones similar concerning the existential threat to both Russia and the United States. While asking for aid from the Orthodox Church and the Russian government for Iraqi and Syrian Christians he made in clear that the Islamic threat to both Russia and the United States was far greater than the threat the two nations present to each other
